History of The Stitching Co.
A young homemaker who picked up sewing as a means to create home stitched clothes for family members, accidentally found herself in a situation where she had to stitch some kurtis to help a neighnour with their boutique business. It didn't take her long to realize her gifts.
Born in Nasik
In 2011, The Stitching Co. was started by Prema Hisaria in the wine city of India.
She started her journey by taking up several no MOQ projects and supplying to local boutiques. Boutique orders started turning into brand orders.
It wasn't until 2013 that we started manufacturing for companies outside Maharashtra
The Growth
The business grew and so did the team. The founder put all of her working experience into setting up an agile team that could scale up the production when required.
At this point, the supply chain is so optimized that The Stitching Co. is in a unique position to deliver really high quality garments at an extremely reasonable price. All because the foundation was laid on the grounds of solid craftsmanship and passion for stitching.
